We conduct skills audits with current Boards and Senior Managers to identify learning gaps and development needs amongst existing postholders.
We also identify gaps in governance and leadership to support organisations recruit board members and senior managers necessary for your organisation to achieve its full potential and have the right knowledge, experience and ability to support organisational success.

We work with Boards, Leadership Teams and other workforce members through half day, full day or more sessions as needed to identify future strategies and business goals, aims and direction, and to co-create realistic and measurable delivery action plans to achieve them.

We conduct in-depth organisational needs analyses to identify areas of strength, weakness, development and growth opportunities via one of the following two options:
Option One (In-house):
Assessing strategy, business plans and engagement with Board, management and workforce
Option Two (Full 360):
Undertaking the above but also incorporating external stakeholders and partners to ascertain and assess sector position, partnership and growth opportunities

Moseley Road Baths Governance and Strategy, Lead Consultant (June 2023 – January 2024)
I facilitated a series of workshops with the Board of Moseley Road Baths, including senior local authority officers, funders, local residents and MRB key officers, who are overseeing a £32mil renovation and restoration, refurbishment and reimagining of the space and function. Key outputs included:
o Undertaking a series of 1:1 and small group interviews with key stakeholders to ascertain key challenges, opportunities, thoughts around future priorities and barriers to achieving.
o Planning, coordinating and delivering three strategy sessions with Board and stakeholder representatives to identify strategic and operational priorities during closure, restoration and reopening stages.
o Creation of an action plan matrix providing clear and practical actions to achieve said priorities with identified timescales and individuals responsible for achieving actions.
o Supporting the provision of two governance structure and advisory sessions with the Board and in the creation of a governance options document for deliberation.
Surrey County Council Cultural Services, Income Generation and Bid Writing (November 2022 – August 2023)
Outputs included:
o Extensive desk-based strategy and policy research including internal local authority strategies (at both county and district and borough levels)
o Regular internal and external stakeholder meetings and consultations around service and bid development (online with service leads and other key staff, 1:1 and small group)
o Creation and regular updating and ongoing refinement of a multi layered Fundraising and Income Generation Resource Toolkit which included:
- Funding Sources Database (private and public sector)
- Creating a Funding Application Guide
- Building a Case for Support Template
- Step by step Community Fundraising Guide
