Midan Ltd was established in 2012 by Matt Daniels, Managing Director, who has worked within the public and Voluntary, Charity and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sectors for almost thirty years, the past twenty of which have been in organisational and strategic leadership positions.

Midan Ltd provides specialist support across the charity, public and business sectors to enable organisations and services to reflect and refocus, to sustain, strengthen and grow at Board and senior management levels.

We also support organisations to establish clear and focused priorities and SMART Action Plans and to create viable income and fundraising strategies. Midan Ltd also delivers LGBTQ+ training to build awareness and inclusivity in the workplace, and to provide support to your LGBTQ+ workforce.

Matt Daniels, Managing Director

Matt Daniels is the Managing Director of Midan Limited, providing specialist consultation and training across the business, charity and public sectors, in particular around LGBTQ+ Awareness and inclusion, Fundraising and Income Generation, Charity Leadership, Strategic Planning and Sustainable Organisational Development.

He has held leadership positions across the charity sector for over twenty years, working predominantly with marginalised communities. Some of his previous contracts have included the establishment and development of a national LGBT Leadership Programme, supporting the creation of the Syrian Resettlement Scheme for the West Midlands and various largescale organisational audits and strategic plan reviews, fundraising strategy creation, alongside numerous community facilitations and evaluations across the arts, culture and LGBTQ+ sectors.

Matt is an advocate and leader across the LGBTQ+ sector nationally and was the Chair of the Board of Management for Birmingham LGBT (www.blgbt.org) 2010-15 during a phase of significant growth and development. He is a co-founding Management Committee Member of the Midland Alliance Network (https://thealliancenetwork.co.uk/) an LGBTQ+ professional network, since 2016, and an Inclusion Advisory Board Member for Warwickshire County Cricket Club (https://edgbaston.com/) supporting the club to become more LGBTQ+ inclusive.

He is also the Independent Chair of the Board of Management for Communities In Sync (https://communitiesinsync.info/) a dynamic partnership of quality health, social care and well-being providers working together to improve the lives of people in the local community.
